About The Event

***MEET IN THE MARINA PARKING LOT***
Spend the morning giving back to the Florida Keys by helping restore vital coastal habitats in one of the region’s most beautiful and historic locations.
Once a safe harbor for Spanish explorers and later a key stop along Henry Flagler’s Overseas Railroad, Bahia Honda is now home to some of the Florida Keys’ most stunning beaches—and soon, even more thriving mangroves. Mangroves play a critical role in protecting shorelines, improving water quality, supporting diverse wildlife, and preserving the natural beauty that makes this area so special. By restoring this habitat, we’re helping ensure both a healthier ecosystem and an ideal place for recreation for years to come.
What’s Provided: Tools, gloves, snacks, and water will be available.
