With natural coastal areas in rapid decline, it is crucial that we actively work to restore these areas to protect coastal communities and wildlife that call them home.
Planting Made Easy
Select plants native to the area
Plot the layout
Dig a hole 2-3 times the size of the root ball
Remove from container and gently loosen roots
Place in hole and cover with original soil
Admire your work...you did a great job!
Why Vegetation Matters
Native vegetation, such as mangroves and sea oats, not only help protect coastal communities but also serves as marine nurseries, shelter, and food sources for wildlife above and below the water.
