About The Event
Join Coastlove, the Boy Scouts of America, and Sea Trees as we work togther to restore the shorelines of Camp Sawyer. Camp Sawyer is 9 beachfront acres in the Florida Keys that allow youth to explore and experience nature and habitat for coastal birds, butterflies, and threatened species.
We will be planting native trees and dune vegetation on uneven ground so we ask all participants to wear closed-toed shoes. All planting supplies and water will be provided. Be sure to bring your reusable bottle to refill. Thank you for helping us make this a plastic-free event.
What to bring:
- Sun protection
- Bug spray and/or wear long sleeves and pants
- Closed-toed shoes are required
- Reusable water bottle
- A SMILE!
Thank you to our partners, Sea Trees for helping us make this project possible.
