About The Event
We are excited to join Miami Waterkeeper and the City of Miami to help restore the dunes of beautiful Virginia Key Beach North Point Park at the Mabel Fentress Walking Trails. We will be removing invasive vegetation and making way for the native plants in the area to thrive.
Heavy lifting, walking uneven paths, and the use of loppers, hand pruners, and spades will be required. This event is not recommended for young children. Community service hours provided.
What to Bring:
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Closed Toed Shoes (Required)
- Sunscreen and Insect Repellent (Recommended)
- Hat, Long Sleeve Shirt, and long pants (Recommended)
