About The Event
Join Coastlove on January 16, 2027, from 9–11 AM at Harry Harris Park in Tavernier, FL, for a hands-on mangrove restoration event! In partnership with Monroe County, we’re working to restore a coastal area by planting all three species of mangroves native to Florida: red, black, and white mangroves.
Mangroves play a vital role in protecting our shorelines from erosion, providing habitat for wildlife, improving water quality, and supporting healthy coastal ecosystems. By planting all three species, we’re helping restore the natural diversity of this coastal habitat and strengthen its resilience for the future.
Come get your hands dirty, learn about the importance of mangroves, and make a lasting impact on our Florida Keys coastlines!
